Charles has engineered numerous projects for Edie Fairytale Theater creating Children's Fairytale Theater (CFT) an online library of EFT music, shows and edu offerings helping reach a broader global market. A computer engineer, Charles works for Netbuilder Inc. for clients including Bank of America and TIAA. A graduate of University of Denver, Charles has released numerous albums of his own music under the monicer Charleston Wave, and is currently working on developing his own music label. As President of ArtStrong.org he is interested in involving more young artists by creating ways we as a non-profit can help them manifest their art.
Edie and Scott are artistic creators, producers and co-authors of Edie's Fairytale Theatre (EFT) touring their Fairytale Theatre productions and programs throughout the nation having reached over 700,000 children over the past 30 years. With ArtStrong they look to become a part of the Global Initiative to highlight creativity and imaginative play as powerful and important to the child in us all. Both have BFAs from Boston University and Post graduate degrees from Drama Studio London.
Scott Sears, Executive Director EFT/ARTSTRONG carries an MFA in Arts Management and Leadership from Webster University, MO. oversees grant writing and marketing and is Secretary of the Board.
Edie Avioli, Artistic Director EFT/ARTSTRONG is a two-time recipient of the Playwriting Fellowship at Byrdcliffe AIR Program Woodstock, NY. Director and Creator of EFT Children's Programs and Director and Writer for ArtStrong producing podcasts, fairytale shows, creative theatre residencies, acting and voice classes and Woodstock Summerstage. Working on MOONCHILDREN a new rock opera and lifting the written word to the stage has been enchanting challenging and memorable - pleased to be apart of alighting the creative child spirit in us all.
Michael Silverman is an American pianist, keyboard player and composer and among the most downloaded solo pianists in the world, with 2 billion downloads and streams, he has 14 number one albums in the Classical, World Music, Children's Music and New Age Charts. Mike and his brother are the founders of one of the top online record labels, Autumn Hill Records and have founded several music festivals.
Christopher is a NYC musician and actor who loves to travel, immerse himself in other cultures and create songs for people. He is the musical composer for Edie's Fairytale Theatre and has released three albums with his band, MOONCHILDREN; Mr. Robin, Ticking Man, Bread Boy. BFA at Rutgers University. Agent Abrams. His theatre credits include Gently Down the Stream at The Public with Harvey Fierstein; The Harvest at LCT3, Stupid Fu**inf Bird at The Pearl; London Wall at The Mint Theatre; Only Yesterday at Northern Stage and 59E59 Premiere - Christopher is currently performing Life is a Dream at Baltimore Center Stage.
Charlotte Dougherty is the co author of Edie's Fairytale Theatre, Character Education Fairytales and an accomplished actress, director and teacher. She is currently the Dean of 7th grade at Mary Institute Country Day School and Director of Camp Pegasus. She has a BFA in Theatre from Otterbein College, MAT with an emphasis in Educational Psychology from Webster University, and certification in child development from the Psychoanalytical Institute of St. Louis.
Sienna is the Associate Artistic Director for Edie's Fairytale Theatre, a musician, singer, actor and illustrator. Sienna continues to appear as solo artist at the Duplex in NYC and 1/4 part of the band MOONCHILDREN with her brother Christopher. They have three albums they have collaborated on, most recently, Mr. Robin. She enjoyed touring the US and Europe with Bright Star Theatre, teaches music in Brooklyn, is a member of the Freeman Acting Studio, and serves as Musical Director of EFT Woodstock Summerstage when she's not gigging with her band, MOONCHILDREN. Sienna is soon to release her first solo album.
